Staff Qualifications
D.C. Van Lines Moving & Storage Co., Inc. has been a family owned and operated business for over fifty-two years.
Milton Randolph Cherry - President and founder of the company. He is charged with the day-to-day management of corporate-wide operations. Mr. Cherry administers all government services and contracts. He is charged with the overall supervision of more than fifty full and part-time employees. His expertise in financial management has enabled D.C. Van Lines Moving & Storage Co., Inc. to consistently provide high-quality service at a very economical cost.
Eunice M. Cherry - is the Chief Financial Officer who brings more than thirty-five years of experience to the firm. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University and an efficient and effective liaison between D.C. Van Lines Moving & Storage Co., Inc. and its many government clients. She is directly responsible for the budget and cost analysis. She also monitors all billing transactions and account receivables to insure thoroughness and accuracy.
Milton Gregory Cherry - has more than twenty years of experience. He has provided driver's education seminars, administered routine road examinations, and driving tests. Gregory also administers drug and alcohol tests to drivers and movers. He also supervises the moving crews on job sites.
Michelle Young-Downs - has the responsibility of scheduling and booking jobs. During her twenty-three year tenure with D.C. Van Lines Moving & Storage Co., Inc., Mrs. Downs has impressively performed and is in charge of all record management and document control functions.
Etrice Lee Cherry - is Operations Manager/Warehouse Supervisor. His forty years of expertise uniquely qualifies him to schedule and monitor all mobile crews, direct storage assignments, oversee the service and maintenance of all equipment, and supervise the warehouse staff.
Our moving and warehouse staff possesses optimum skill and experience in this field. Our moving technicians, drivers, and sub-contractors average eleven years of experience each, with more than ninety-five percent of our staff and contractors being continually employed at D.C. Van Lines Moving and Storage Co., Inc. for five years or more.
